Mr. Kevin Yu Mr. Yu attended the University of California at Berkeley's Haas School of Business and the University of Tokyo at Komaba. Mr. Yu began his career as the founder of an internet startup based in LosAngeles and Tokyo, focusing on facilitating the exchange of goods between importers in both cities. He joined PayPal Inc in 2004 to manage international Consumer Protection programs. In 2006, Mr. Yu took on the challenge of leading PayPal expansion to Japan, culminating in PayPal's 2008 market-entry into Japan and the passage of the Electronic Money Transmission act by the Japanese Diet in 2009. Following his lifelong passion for no-compromise automobiles, Mr. Yu joined Tesla Motors in 2010 to drive their entry into Asian markets. |
| 19:00-19:30 | 「InMobi Japan’s Strategy in Japan 」 Inmobi VP & Managing Director, Japan Mr. Hidetaka Tembata Mr.Tembata joined InMobi in April 2010 as Head of Japan with full responsibility for building the business and further accelerating InMobi’s international growth. Shigetaka Tembata holds a Bachelor Degree in Precise Machinery Engineering from University of Tokyo and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. Mr.Tembata has also worked for Microsoft, AOL, and NTT DoCoMo. Mr.Tembata joins InMobi from Yahoo! Japan where he was VP, Managing Director of the region, with responsibility for advertising services partnerships primarily, but also other critical services such as CPA affiliates, payment API and toolbar. Prior to Yahoo!, Mr.Tembata was Chief Media Officer of Overture Japan, which was acquired by Yahoo! Japan in 2008. During his tenure at Overture, Mr.Tembata grew his division from zero revenue to nearly $US 400 million in 4 years. -InMobi Japan K.K. InMobi specializes in distribution of advertisements to mobile handsets. Expanding in Singapore and other Asian countries, InMobi has recently entered markets in Europe, U.S. and has started operation in Japan. InMobi will become a tenant of the India Economic Zone in September, 2010.
